She completed her Bachelor of Architecture from B.V.B college of Engineering , Hubli. She started practice in 2005. She has designed a variety of projects, namely housing, hospitality, commercial as well as independent bungalows. She has travelled around the world and her design approach reflects her eclectic bent towards architecture. She emphasizes the need for architecture to be a statement for its surroundings as well as an embodiment of functionality, comfort and practicality. She believes that architecture has to be sustainable and incorporates energy efficient techniques in her designs. She specializes in Commercial, Residential and Public Building designing. She also takes up turn key projects.

Upon graduation in Architecture from RVSA (Rashtreeya Vidyalaya School of Architecture), Bangalore he worked under Architect Hafeez Contractor in Mumbai. He then did his masters in Construction Project Management from Michigan State University- USA, where his research area was ‘Cost Control in International Construction Projects’. He works as a design associate focusing on sustainable contemporary spaces and co-ordinates the construction project management services of the firm and is also a managing partner in a construction firm. He is currently working towards integrating the various services offered by the firm to make it a comprehensive design-build firm. Along with Michigan State University, he is currently researching the sustainability practices of USA and India.

Completed her Bachelor of Architecture from B.V.B college of Engineering , Hubli following which she did her specialization(M Arch) in Industrial architecture at the prestigious Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai. She is working as a Design Associate with Kembhavi Architecture Foundation since 1997 and is in Overall charge of Management, Administration & Design Cells. Currently she heads an initiative of Green Township & affordable housing design with various reputed developers across the spectrum.

Completed his bachelor of Architecture from B.V.B college of Engineering Hubli after which he went for specialization in institutional architecture at Sir J.J. college of Architecture Mumbai. He has worked with architect Gerad da cunha in Goa on a book of goan residential architecture “Houses of Goa” .He works as a design associate with KAF since 1997. He is also into construction where he is a partner in two reputed firms. His focus is on management systems, design and liason.

Passed out from Sir J.J college of Architecture in 1972 and partnered her husband in the establishment of Kembhavi Architecture foundation. She has also been responsible for the establishment and building up of the dept of architecture in BVB College of engineering and technology Hubli and has also chaired various academics committees and is an expert visiting professor to various institutions. Her focus has always been eco-sensitive with a strong multidisciplinary focus on environment

 

Her course on solar passive architecture in IIT Powai strengthened the firm with an added knowledge stream where in she steered the firm to join the green movement with a lot of eco sensitive habitats and a certified green building (one of the first in India) under her belt .she is pioneering the green revolution drawing on various resources and propagating its importance in different spheres. Her stint as Head of department of BVB college of engineering and Technology Hubli from 1989 -2002, Chairman of Board of Studies Karnataka University Dharwad and Chairman BOS of VTU saw the spread of architecture in an otherwise architecture backward region. She believes in creation of innovative design with a strong back-up of technology and research.

Pioneered Kembhavi Architects in 1972 and along with his wife Nalini steered the firm to be one of the best known consultancy firms of India. After completing B.Arch from Sir J.J. College of Architecture Mumbai, he Worked with “Chartered Architect’ Mr. D. N. Bavale on various projects including Theaters, Shopping complexes, hotels etc.

 

After this stint the desire of acquiring new technology pulled him to the United Kingdom where he specialized in interior Design after which he worked as an associate in the firm of Willeam Olds -one of the biggest firms of the United kingdom, where as a design-team leader he was responsible for winning the two major competitions i.e. “the Bee Hive chain of hotels” and “Casa Mila housings” worth two million pounds. He was also involved majorly in pre-fab technology for construction.

 

After he returned from the UK his firm has won a lot of laurels and acclaim from clients, peers, public and the Govt. His ideology personifies contemporary thought and re-invention in the specter of design and as well as profession. He has been academically active and was involved with the establishment and building up of the department of architecture in B.V.B college of engineering and technology Hubli and also and has chaired various academic committees and is an expert professor to various institutions.
